Working without artificial lights inside shops (drugstore in particular) the BRAW finally give me a very helpful hands with color correction.īut with the old FULL HD footage in Prores my PC didn't have any problems. My company ask me to elevate the quality of video production, so I decided to make only 4K video corporate instead of FULL HD videos (I have the BMPCC Mark I before). It's impossible to work in this condition. I have to restart PC and then Resolve render correctly. GPU Selection > uncheck Auto and manually select the available Nvidia card in your system. When I try to render the footage, Resolve failed to render. PROBLEM SOLVED Finally I found the solution - you have to make the right settings: Menu > Preference > System > Memory and GPU > GPU Configuration > GPU Processing Mode > uncheck Auto and select CUDA instead of OpenCL. When I begin a basic color correction, slow down clips, apply optical flow and stabilization, appear an error "Your GPU Memory is full - Try reducing the timeline resolution or the number of correctors." There is no source camera footage its all images. My current project is a 17:50 minute long video for YouTube. Just recently switched to Studio instead of free davinci so I could use GPU rendering (my CPU couldnt handle my current project I guess). Proxy mode: quarter resolution Render cache: user I have a 3060ti with 8gb of ram, 32 gb total system ram. I really don't see any reason why there should be a problem. The render goes smoothly and quickly until about 34% and then the error pops up. It contains no Fusion miracles, just a couple of Resolve transitions and basic color correction. Now I have a 53 second 4K timeline but I am using mostly FullHD RAW footage from BMPCC 4K. Im not sure if they every figured out what was causing it. Restart the system, open a completely empty project, and randomly itd be GPU Memory Full. Tried to render at 1080p, Unchecked 'Stop renders when a frame or clip can not be processed. Tried to change memory and GPU off of Auto and on to CUDA. Footage specs - MediaInfo can tell you the codec and container. Davinci Resolve 17 Version 17.4.4 Build 7. I have edited and rendered longer 4K videos before without any problem. Resolve version and Free/Studio - DaVinci Resolve>About DaVinci Resolve. I have been working with Resolve for more than half a year and I have the Studio version. I am getting really frustrated as I am trying to render a video for a customer and keep running into the problem: "GPU memory is full."
